About Us

The short version

BioProfileMe is a cybersecurity and digital safety blog built by someone who actually does this for a living. No recycled tips from random listicles — just practical security knowledge from someone who has spent years finding vulnerabilities in real systems.

Who's behind this?

My name is Adhen Prasetiyo. In the bug hunting community, people know me as Banditz Cyber.

I've been in the cybersecurity space for years — specifically in bug bounty hunting, which means companies pay me to find security holes in their systems before the bad guys do. I've reported vulnerabilities, worked on responsible disclosure, and spent way too many late nights staring at code and network traffic.

At some point I realized something. I spend all this time finding security problems, but most regular people — my friends, my family, people I meet — have no idea how to protect themselves online. They reuse passwords. They click suspicious links. They don't know what a VPN actually does. And the "cybersecurity advice" they find online is either too technical or too vague to be useful.

So I started BioProfileMe. A place where I take what I know from the offensive side of security and turn it into defensive knowledge that anyone can actually use.

What you'll find here

I write about five main areas:

Online Privacy — How to actually protect your personal data. Not paranoia-level stuff, just practical steps that make a real difference.

Scam & Fraud Protection — I've seen how social engineering works up close. I break down the latest scams so you can spot them before they get you.

Security Tool Reviews — VPNs, password managers, antivirus, 2FA apps. I test them and tell you what's worth your money and what isn't.

Digital Safety Guides — Step-by-step walkthroughs for securing your phone, laptop, Wi-Fi, social media accounts, and more.

Cyber News — When there's a major data breach or a new scam going around, I'll cover it here with what you actually need to do about it.

Why listen to me?

Fair question. The internet is full of people giving security advice.

The difference is I'm not just a writer covering cybersecurity from the outside. I work in it. I've found real bugs in real systems. I understand how attackers think because I've spent years doing exactly what they do — except legally and ethically, through bug bounty programs.

When I tell you a certain type of phishing attack is dangerous, it's because I've seen it work. When I recommend a password manager, it's because I've actually evaluated its security architecture, not just read the marketing page.

That said, I'm human. I can be wrong. If you spot an error in anything I write, tell me. I'd rather fix it than spread bad info.

The vibe

No fear-mongering. No "YOU'RE GOING TO GET HACKED" clickbait. Just clear, honest information that helps you make better decisions online. I write the way I'd explain things to a friend who asked me for help.
