About Us

Last updated: May 15, 2026

BioProfileMe is a cybersecurity, scam awareness, online privacy, and digital safety website created to help everyday internet users understand real online threats without confusing technical language.

This site is written and edited by Adhen Prasetiyo, an independent security researcher based in Indonesia. My goal is simple: turn real-world security knowledge into practical guides that ordinary people can actually use.

BioProfileMe covers topics such as phishing, online scams, account takeover, malware, privacy risks, security tools, and safe digital habits.

Who Runs BioProfileMe?

My name is Adhen Prasetiyo. I am an independent security researcher from Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia.

In the security community, I also use the handle Banditz Cyber.

I actively research web application security, authentication issues, IDOR vulnerabilities, business logic bugs, OAuth misconfigurations, and real-world scam techniques that affect everyday users.

You can find my public profiles here:

I believe cybersecurity education should not only be written for engineers. Many serious security problems begin with ordinary people being tricked, pressured, or confused. That is why BioProfileMe focuses on clear explanations, realistic examples, and practical steps.

Why I Started BioProfileMe

I started BioProfileMe because many cybersecurity articles are either too technical, too vague, or too disconnected from what real users experience.

A lot of online safety advice sounds simple:

  • Use a strong password.
  • Do not click suspicious links.
  • Enable two-factor authentication.
  • Be careful online.

Those tips are not wrong, but they are often not enough.

Scammers do not only attack technology. They attack trust, fear, urgency, confusion, and routine behavior. Malware campaigns, phishing pages, fake customer support accounts, OTP scams, loan app abuse, and account takeover attempts are designed to manipulate people before they manipulate systems.

BioProfileMe exists to explain those threats in a way that normal users can understand and act on.

The site was started in May 2026 as an independent digital safety resource for readers who want practical security guidance without hype, panic, or unnecessary jargon.

How Articles Are Researched

Every article on BioProfileMe is written with the goal of being useful, accurate, and understandable.

Depending on the topic, research may include:

  • Public security reports
  • Official advisories
  • Government or regulator announcements
  • Security vendor research
  • Real-world examples of scam patterns
  • Personal experience from security testing and bug bounty research
  • Hands-on review of tools or security settings
  • Public documentation from platforms and technology providers

When an article includes statistics, technical claims, or specific references, I try to use reliable sources and link to them where possible.

Cybersecurity changes quickly, so older articles may be updated when new information becomes available.

Editorial Standards

BioProfileMe follows these editorial principles:

  1. Practical value first
Every article should help the reader understand a problem or take useful action.

  2. No fear-only content
Cybersecurity can be serious, but the goal is not to scare readers. The goal is to explain risks clearly and provide realistic steps.

  3. Human editing and review
Articles are written and reviewed before publication. AI tools may be used for grammar checking, formatting, outlining, or readability support, but the final responsibility for accuracy and editorial judgment belongs to the site owner.

  4. Clear separation between education and advice
BioProfileMe provides general educational information. It is not a replacement for professional cybersecurity consulting, legal advice, or incident response.

  5. Corrections are welcome
If an article contains an error, outdated information, or unclear explanation, readers can contact me and I will review it.

Advertising, Affiliate Links, and Sponsorship

BioProfileMe may display advertisements or use affiliate links in some articles.

If an article contains affiliate links, I may earn a small commission if you purchase through those links. This does not change the price you pay and does not influence my opinion.

If a post is sponsored, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored.

I do not accept paid reviews that require a positive opinion. Security products and services should be evaluated based on usefulness, transparency, security design, privacy practices, and real user value.
