A few things I want to be transparent about before you dive into the content on this site.
This is educational content
Everything on BioProfileMe is written to help regular people understand cybersecurity and online safety better. I do my best to make sure everything is accurate, well-researched, and actually useful.
But here's the thing — this isn't professional cybersecurity consulting. I'm sharing general knowledge and personal expertise, not assessing your specific situation. If you're dealing with something serious (a real breach, legal questions, enterprise-level security decisions), bring in a qualified professional who can look at your case specifically.
Also, cybersecurity moves fast. A guide I wrote three months ago might miss something new. I update content when I can, but always double-check anything critical before acting on it.
Tool reviews and recommendations
When I review a VPN, password manager, or any other security tool, I'm giving you my honest take based on my own testing and professional experience. I don't do paid reviews where a company pays me to say nice things.
That said, products change. Features get added or removed, pricing changes, companies get acquired. What I wrote on review day might not be 100% accurate six months later. Always check the official product page before you buy.

Let's be upfront: this site may contain affiliate links. That means if you click a link and end up buying something, I might earn a small commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra.
I also run Google AdSense ads. Those ads are served by Google's algorithm based on your browsing history — I don't personally choose which ads appear.
Neither affiliate links nor ads influence what I write. If a product is bad, I'll say so regardless of whether there's an affiliate program. My reputation matters more than a commission.

I link to a lot of outside resources — tools, articles, research, official documentation. Once you leave this site, you're on someone else's property. I can't vouch for their accuracy, privacy practices, or content. Browse wisely.
